There's Crowding!

So update...
The seeds we planted about two weeks ago have begun to sprout! Yes, finally.
I am so excited, I didn't actually think they would do anything. I mean i've thrown seeds before and gotten
more from them then I did the last crop of veggies & fruit that I planted. So I didn't actually have much hope. Mind you, my neighbors did nab a few of my best attempts before I got a chance to see what they actually did, but hey, let's leave that story for another day. As for now, I'm excited for the progress. And that they didn't disappear.

I don't know why I drift the way that I do when I write, but here it is , just what i've done. Oh well, it's meditative i guess.  (smh) Oh the drama.

Alright so I put a little video above showing how the sprouts have grown, kind of pointless without the other parts I  know, but atleast you get a feel for what I'm talking about. There's so much crowding. Wow, never would have expected. I think more than anything i'm happy to see that even with so many seeds in each pod they were still able to sprout. I mean they did really well. I don't know how it's going to look as they get bigger, but as for right now things are looking good. It's only been two weeks and not all of the seeds have sprouted.  It would have been nice if they had,  but no. Only 18 out of 36 cells have grown.

Not bad...or  horrible? That's only half. According to my research I should have had a lot better turn out. But to be honest I didn't check the seasons on each plant. Some things grown in June , some are for the spring and only the spring , and some are for the winter. I just chose whatever it was I wanted to eat and started planting. Now I'm starting to think that was not so smart. Hmmm, still not going to give up tho. I will leave the others some where nice and sunny until they sprout and once the seedlings get bigger I will separate them into cups or maybe even go ahead and place them in the grown so they can keep growing. That sounds better than not trying. I will continue to try and start more seeds but this time i'm going to be checking the seasons on the seed pack to know the best one to plant .

Also, i'm going to be moving the seedlings  soon to a new spot, as the one they are currently in has a little pest of the human type that keeps messing with them and I don't want them to crushed or stolen. I mean these are my kids.( lol)
Being a plant mom is serious business. I find myself worrying about them a lot, so i'm going to make sone changes and hopefully next update, we'll have a better video for the viewing. Gardening has proven to be really fun. But it's worrying me more than I thought. I find that I really care about the outcome. And they aren't really as portable as they seem those little trays we started. There's so much to worry about with them; watering, location, how much son of course what to do next. And so on and so forth. I'm still learning but I feel this is going to be a great experience. It's nice.  But anyway, you guys can check out the clip above and comment below what you think.
